Residency Training Programs
The 36-month Family Medicine Residency offers a fully implemented competency based curriculum with state of the art educational tools and evaluation systems to enhance the trainee's education in every year of training. Residents will have closely supervised education from highly skilled board certified physicians in both the hospital setting and the newly built state of the art Family Medicine Center located directly across from the hospital's main entrance.
Residents will receive training that emphasizes a strong balance of duty hours in the learning and working environment and a program that promotes management skills in the practice setting.
Utilizing the program's expansive electronic resources and the electronic medical record, the resident will learn first hand the capabilities of the electronic patient database, electronic coding and billing, fiscal operations and financial opportunities, medical literature searching capabilities, and the electronic portfolio that each resident graduates with.
Upon successful completion of the training program, each resident will have been taught the necessary skills to be a life-long professional learner with the knowledge to pass the board certification exam and all needed abilities to be a competent practicing physician.
Each resident upon completion of the training program will receive a beautiful graduation certificate from the institution that serves as verification of postdoctoral training making the resident fully eligible for licensure in New York State as well as any other state.

- Year 1: 48,000
- Year 2: 50,000
- Year 3: 52,000 (additional 1,000 if elected Chief)
